Yes,tested on both Windows 10/Windows 11,works,thank you for the great feedback! You can modify the Hitman2.ini file to reflect your display settings,like adding. StartUpperPos 0,0 for dual monitor support or changing resolution to something like 2k or 4k. by changing this line Resolution 1920x1080. Hope it helps!
I want to play Hitman 2 Silent Assassin but for some reason when I press start it plays the opening cutscene's music but shows a black screen.
EDIT 2: H2SA has the same lag issue. Actually the most severe one (0,5-1s). And again, regularly every 10 seconds or so. Using D3D rendering and no widescreen fix (haven´t tried it yet). Again, it´s not there in OpenGL, but I heard OGL causes graphical glitches in the game, so it doesn´t sound like a long-term solution. Any suggestions?
If you're like me, you've been trying every fix here but nothing worked. After an entire day of frustration, I went into my AMD Settings, made a custom profile for the game, turned pretty much every option on and it worked. No black cutscenes, but more importantly: starting a game actually launches the game! There's no constant black screen or crash!
