When starting to rope in a bag, make sure it's dry. You never put a wet rope in a bag. If the ropes are stored wet, they will get kinked and act funny. If a rope is wet, hang it up outside until it dries. Try not to store more than three or four ropes in a bag. The more you put in a bag, the harder it is to keep them separated.
Push the end of one rope section from the inside of the bag to the outside and tie a knot. Push the other end of the rope section through the remaining grommet on the same side of the bag and make a knot. Fray the ends, if desired and trim the strings so they are even. Repeat for the other handle and you are done!
Start by folding one end of the rope into a 12" length, with the cut end on the left side. Sew the two pieces together starting at the fold, down to the cut end of the rope. Make sure the sewing machine is sewing both pieces of rope together by staying centered under the needle- it sews right through the rope!

A great battle ropes conditioning test involves wrapping the ropes around the squat rack and using the safety bar as a measuring point. Count the number of times the ropes hit the safety bar or “rings the bell.”. This conditioning test is an adequate benchmark in tracking your progress. #2.
The first step is to tie the bottom part of the rope into the rope bag. You can do this through the grommet at the bottom by first tying the end of the rope to the strap. This is also helpful if you need part of the rope for anything else. Make sure to prep your rope bag.
