P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected Basically this means that the the car's computer has detected that not all of the engine's cylinders are firing properly. A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. 10/14 oil change (at dealer) 10/21 P06DD code - dealer cleared (7165 miles) 10/30 P06DD code (7472 miles) 11/05 filter cartridge changed (7664 miles) 12/27 P06DD code (9194 miles) I'm currently sitting in a different dealer with them looking as to why the code is coming up. There is oil by the oil filter element, I have confirmed that the P0307 is a fairly common trouble code with the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It’s and OBD2 code and means that a misfire has been detected in the 7th cylinder in the firing order. You should only be seeing this code if you have an engine with at least 7 cylinders. So, it’s mostly a code for V8 engines. P0307 is typically caused by bad spark plugs

Receiving a PO740 code on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I check my codes and I have codes P0300, P0305, P0306 Few months ago I got a P0300 misfire code. replaced pluge. went away. a few weeks later P0300 06 and 05 flashed. Checked coil packs. Moved 1 and 2 coil over to 5 and 6. Same misfire code 5 and 6. Checked injectors with tester. OK. Checked for plug gap and was ok. Checked for broken or loose wires. OK.

Usually means that no one cylinder is misfiring enough to trigger a more specific code. resulting in either bad gas, bad ecm, etc. (oIIIo) Jeepin aint easy! Its not a Jeep, Its a way of Life!

I have had a misfire on my 05 Grand Cherokee for about 2 months now. The code is P0300. So it is a random misfire. What i have replaced/done so far: O2 Sensors (Mopar) Spark Plugs ( Gapped correctly and used Champion which are the OEM ones) Fuel Pump (Mopar) Fuel pressure is now at 60 +-2. Camshaft Position Sensor (Mopar) Compression Test 175
