Apr 8, 2011 at 13:17. A normal zoom on a 35mm camera has traditionally meant about 28-75 or 80mm. The 24-105mm on a crop body yields an angle of view of about 38-168mm on a FF body. It covers most, but certainly not all of the normal zoom range, while extending well into telephoto territory. – Michael C.

It has been a long, long time I have reviewed a new Canon L series prime lens. uffice it to say that the competition has really stepped up its game over the past two years, and Canon is launching the new EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM to a much more crowded market. Generally all the lenses that I have mentioned are optically excellent, with the weakest of them actually being one of the Canon
